Walls Are For Pictures…

These photos remind us that the only walls we need to build, are walls to hang photos that recall our too easily forgotten history. Our memories are short and photography is one of the few means that can overcome this disability. When we forget the past, we are doomed to repeat it or in this case, doomed not to. Undocumented Mexican migrant workers allowed Americans to continue their lifestyle through difficult years and how quickly we have forgotten. Seemingly, we have not only forgotten to be grateful, but have also neglected the important role they play in today’s economy and social tapestry.
