  1. I stopped looking at their scores when they introduced the new measuring method. Suddenly iPhone scores went up (e.g. 6s) and everyone’s else dropped. It’s like if they were looking for new ways to be bought by Apple (after their iPhone add-on camera fiasco).

  2. To point out what a method fails to achieve is education. Dxomark doesn’t claim to tell you what a camera is best for, it’s a measure of the ability of the sensor to render detail.

    To criticise a method, you need to provide a better one. Dxomark improves the quality of sensors, because before it was just people’s opinions. It’s a good thing that provides reliable useful information.
