  1. Taylor Swift perhaps needs to realise that if you need your ‘management team’ (read lawyers) to respond to a legitimate point well made, you’ve probably lost the moral argument…

  2. Pop music is all about the money anyway. Sadly for Taylor and her managers, the real money in her photo is not one of her on stage that a stringer takes, but one taken by someone of her walking down the street, or stumbling drunk.

  3. So what begins as a dispute between a huge star and a huge corporation is resolved. Yet Swift, and many, many others, including huge corporations, think that images exist for their own use and disregard the rights of the artists who created those images. Its all about greed and power. Apple thought they had the power but backed down. Will Swift? I think not, its too easy to step on the little people.
BTW Jennifer, you should read Jason Seldon’s letter, he wasn’t working for Swift.

  4. Stop giving this dickhead Sheldon publicity. His own sample contract on his website says he owns the pictures people pay him to take. And then he whines about other people having restrictive contracts?

  5. Anyone that slams Swift should first show how much they have done for others before speaking up. Fans and people in need Swift cares, this is a quality lacking in the industry that has the power for so much positive change.
