Kickstarter: Artkick Look Tries to Make a Digital Photo Frame That Isn’t Awful

  1. I certainly would never pay a monthly fee for ANY photo frame regardless of content (unless it is actual TV stations), however I am somewhat surprised that they never really advanced beyond what they were about 5-6 years ago.

  2. I like to display my own work. The things that catch my eye and make me want to photograph in the first place. I don’t put all of that on Facebook. Occasionally, but very little of my actual work. Unless I could feed from my library, and I’m also not willing to spend $10 a month for other people’s stuff, there’s no point in it for me.

  3. “that isnt awful”. But still it has an ugly big black bezel, whereas with current technology, it could already be a beautiful float-in the-air effect with ultrathin bezels.
And if you are really old, and really like thick black frames, then on such a nice thin bezelled device it could be a cheap addon.
