  1. I won’t touch Tamron lenses, but I’ve got the Sigma 18-300 lens as a “backup” lens when I need to travel light and it’s OK. The Canon 28-300 on a full frame camera is my preferred travel lens.

  2. Dammit, must they keep bringing out upgrades? I love my 16-300 and use it all the time as a do-it-all travel lens – have I now got to replace it?
