  1. Awesome. I still have and use the mark ii version and love it. It’s nice to see Sony continually improving this at regular intervals. I’m sure price will be a killer

  2. I wish it was a 24-200 f2.0-4 lens. Also that battery is not good enaugh. Still no front dial and front fn button/s and no grip. At this price ? I’ll wait for Canon and Panasonic insted, hope one of them dellivers a great camera this year.

  3. Unless you write “35mm equivalent” next to “24-200mm”, you are simply lying and misinform people who do not know enough about lenses and sensors and are attracted to numbers. You are aiding a fraud. Someone should put a stop to these “fake numbers” in photography.
The camera is certainly a tech miracle, the price is Ok! but only if you definitely need a super compact camera for your travel photography and video.
Image quality is not what you pay for when you buy this camera(from the images I saw in 100%), you can have much better image quality with half the money. You pay for size and convenience.
If prices drop for the RX100 III, that would be great.

  4. With that price tag, I see no reason to buy that instead of a dSLR. And normal compacts are becoming pointless when it comes to hi-end smartphones. So it’s dSLR or nothing for me 🙂
