  1. I like to shoot landscapes with my 70-200mm. All it takes is some panos and some sticking done! But after reading the article I can understand why he likes the 50mm for landscapes. The 50mm lenses is closest to how the human eye perceives the subject or the landscape.

  2. A 50mm is great for everything. I use mine for most of my photography. Landscape, portrait, Astro, product, doesn’t matter. It’s an all-around great lens.

  3. That’s not the point. The question is how many more good shots one would’ve created with something like 24-70, compared to the same one with only a 50. The answer – many more.

    First traveled to the World Photographic Cup in Sydney where i got Silver Medal in Nature, and then went to NZ for 9 days

  5. Beginner here. Just wondering if all the photos shown in the article are taken with the 50mm? Some of them looks really wide. Or are those panaroma shots?
