Samsung’s T3 SSDs will put 2TB of storage in your pocket
Storing photos while traveling can be tricky business. That’s why Samsung introduced its T-series hard drive lineup, the latest of which is now capable storing up to 2TB of storage using flash memory (no moving parts, thus less room for hard drive failure when dropped).
These T3 drives improve upon their predecessor by offering more tiers of storage, faster USB 3.1 and type-c support, as well as read/write speeds up to 450MB/s thanks to Samsung’s Vertical NAND (V-NAND) and SSD TurboWrite technologies.
The drives feature AES 256-bit hardware encryption, which will protect your information ‘even if the drive should fall into the wrong hands,’ according to Samsung.
